Multi-Family The Rone Residences

Project Description

Elevated Urban Living at the Edge of River Oaks

Located at the convergence of Houston’s River Oaks and Upper Kirby neighborhoods, Rone Residences is a 12-story luxury multifamily community designed to offer a boutique living experience with direct access to some of the city’s most vibrant districts. With walkability and connectivity at the forefront, the development blends high-end residential design with thoughtfully integrated outdoor spaces that elevate the urban lifestyle.

KW’s landscape architecture team led the design of the streetscape along Westheimer Road, incorporating layered planting, shaded seating zones, and transparent ground-level retail frontage to enhance the pedestrian experience and foster a strong connection between the building and the surrounding neighborhood. The streetscape design balances comfort and functionality, creating a welcoming and walkable environment for both residents and visitors.

On the amenity deck, KW designed a resort-style outdoor experience anchored by a 75-foot lap pool—long enough for swimming laps—and a pair of cold plunge pools that promote wellness and relaxation. The elevated pool environment is surrounded by lush planting, private cabanas, and ample seating areas that provide both shade and views of the city skyline. Together, the streetscape and amenity deck form a cohesive outdoor experience that reflects the luxury, convenience, and lifestyle expectations of this premier Houston address.
