Since its founding in 1991 as a two-person operation, KW has grown into a thriving team of over 50 professionals with four offices nationwide. In recent years, Partners Darin and Wesley have focused on preparing the next generation of leadership by establishing a multidisciplinary leadership team. Our mission is to design exceptional outdoor spaces that inspire people to step outside and engage with the world around them. We believe great outdoor environments have the power to create welcoming spaces that build community, nurture belonging, and enrich shared experiences.

Transforming For The Better
Founded in 1991 by Founding Partner, Darin Weinheimer, KW has grown exponentially over the last three decades and has expanded from Houston to San Antonio and Austin. The recent transformation of KW’s leadership started in 2022 with the addition of Wesley Salazar as Darin’s business partner. This path of change and growth of the firm continued with the support of the newly appointed Leadership Team in 2023, experts in each department of our company.
