Her heart lies in connecting with people and thriving in dynamic, design-focused environments. Inspired by the landscape architecture professionals’ discussions about the transformative impact they make on their communities, she was determined to be a part of that impactful narrative. Through her diligent networking and relationship-building endeavors, Marla discovered her genuine passion: fostering connections between people and harmonizing marketing and business development. As the Senior Business Development Manager for the company, she leads a dedicated team, each of them strategically placed in different office locations for KW to help foster growth for the company nationwide. Marla’s enthusiasm lies in sharing her profound industry insights, both within and beyond the company, with individuals who share her interest in relationship building and the nurturing and maintenance of connections. She is actively leading the business firm-wide by creating strategies that lead to our growth in various markets. After 8 years as a Civil Engineer, I took a scary step and took a leap of faith to figure out what truly makes me happy and found a role in Business Development.
