Public Work North Houston District

Project Description

Cohesive Landscape Design that Enhanced the District's Aesthetic Appeal

The North Houston District Median Streetscape Design project in Houston, TX focused on revitalizing four intersections along Beltway 8. Our scope of work encompassed various aspects including the rebranding of street signs and the creation of gateway signage at multiple entry points to the district. These entry signs, crafted from weathering steel materials, were specifically engineered to endure erosion, ensuring longevity and durability. Additionally, our efforts included implementing a low-maintenance planting design and facilitating reforestation efforts. As a result of this initiative, the district experienced a significant enhancement in aesthetic appeal, fostering a cohesive atmosphere throughout the area that is both distinctive and inviting.
