Stephen F. Austin State University is erecting a new 400 bed residence hall with an adjacent parking garage in the former location of Garner Apartments. Kudela & Weinheimer as a part of the Kirksey team will handle all of the landscape development. Currently there are three conceptual designs for the residence hall and garage which include amenities to attract students to the school. Some of the landscaping amenities include an outdoor sand volley ball court, an outdoor movie theater to be displayed on the wall of the 1,000 car parking garage, study areas, seating areas, conversation fire pit area and grilling areas.
